The Sedan Police Department issues a warning to those who are illegally dumping garbage. In a Facebook post, SPD says anyone caught depositing any object or substance outside of the dumpsters or outside of the fenced area encompassing the dumpsters on south Montgomery will be charged with criminal littering.

Upon a first conviction a fine of not less than $250 nor more than $1000 plus a $95 court cost and an order by the court to pick up litter for a time prescribed by and at a place within the jurisdiction of the court.
