The Labette Assistance Center will be conducting income-based food distribution next week.
The distribution will be on December 17th and begin at 10:00 am at the former Sunshine Gas Station located at 2301 Main Street in Parsons and will continue until all foods are distributed.
The entrance will be located on North 23rd and the line will form on Washington Ave. Open trunk before checking in and have photo ID ready. Recipients must not leave their vehicle while getting checked in. Items being distributed are USDA quality canned, dry, fresh, and frozen items as available.
Eligibility for TEFAP commodities is based on income by household and recipients must be Parsons or Dennis residents.
Below are the current maximum monthly income guidelines for TEFAP:
