Higher temperatures over the past two days will give way to normal, colder temperatures this weekend. The National Weather Service in Wichita is reporting that a cold front will approach central and southeastern Kansas overnight. Temperatures will once again drop back down to the lower 30s over the weekend. There will also be a potential for rain and snow across the area.

However, the last couple of days have seen several locations across Kansas saw record highs report record highs, and may do so again on Thursday.
