The Labette County Commissioners renewed their Emergency Declaration for another sixty days at their most recent meeting. Emergency Management Director Charlie Morse says the disaster declaration allows them to receive funding from the state. Commissioner Fred Vail made the motion to approve the resolution.

Commissioner Cole Proehl seconded the motion and the commissioners voted to approve the declaration unanimously. In other business, the commission also opened up the application process for businesses to apply for CDBG grants.
