An armed robbery occurred at the Quik Shop in Weir, Kansas on Wednesday evening.

A caucasian man with a slender build walked into the convenience store brandishing a knife. The man was wearing blue jeans and a camouflage jacket on top of a grey hoodie and reportedly is about six-foot tall.  He left the scene on foot after stealing an unknown amount of cash from the store register.

Detectives are still investigating the crime and are asking if anyone has any information regarding the suspect to please contact the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division at 620-429-3992.
