Some students at Pittsburg State University got a much needed financial boost as the university has finished distributions of Cares Act funding. PSU received a total of more than $2.6 Million for students and the funds were distributed in three phases.

The first phase went to Pell Grant eligible students. Full-time students received $800 and part-time students received $400. The second and third phases were distributed to students who applied for the funds and met all requirements including having expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19.
