A staff member and an unknown number of students at Neodesha High School have tested positive for COVID-19. There is also an unknown number of students at North Lawn Elementary who have tested positive.

Superintendent Juanita Erickson said she is working with the Wilson County Health Department. The district is also working to discover all close contacts.

Erickson stated that the district will continue to closely monitor the situation, and if necessary they would switch to remote learning. If they were to switch to remote learning, the district would contact parents or guardians via phone, email and Facebook. Erickson said to make sure the school office has a phone number and email address for a parent or guardian of the student.
