USD 447 Board of Education's COVID Plan

The USD 447 Board of Education met last night to discuss their plan with all of the recent COVID-19 cases and quarantines at Lincoln Central Elementary.

Their plan is to give the administration the authority to move individual classrooms or grade levels to remote learning if they were to reach a point where they do not have sufficient staffing.

This plan will allow the maximum number of students to remain in face-to-face instruction. The district will continue with its “6-foot plan” to minimize the likelihood that staff or students will need to be quarantined. They claim they have already seen this approach prevent approximately 110 students at Lincoln Central from being quarantined this week.
