One staff member at Eisenhower Elementary School and two students at Independence High School have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Montgomery County Health Department.

Per the school district's protocol, areas that those individuals occupied over the last several days have been closed off to be thoroughly disinfected.

All students and staff that have been identified as close contacts have been notified and will not be allowed to return to school for 14 days. Those who tested positive won't be able to return until the Montgomery County Health Department deems it safe.
