A lengthy discussion took place regarding masks at the Labette County Commission meeting between all three commissioners and the County Attorney. Commissioner Cole Proehl says rather than opting in or out of the governor's order they passed their own resolution.

Proehl says they wanted to support the recommendation of wearing masks but did not want there to be a punishment for not wearing one.  The resolution passed on a two to one vote. Despite it not being a unanimous decision all three commissioners did voice their support of masks.  Full version of the resolution can be found here.
