Between the hours of 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. Friday, the Kansas Department of Transportation will close K-47 between U.S. Highway 169 and U.S. Highway 59.

During the closure, a wind tower crane will be moved across the highway between Elk and Ford roads. There is no signed detour for the closure. K-47 traffic should use alternate routes.
