The Nowata Police Department is searching for a suspect involved in a shooting incident at the Village Apartments. According to NPD, the suspect broke into a vehicle and was confronted by the owner after the alarm went off. The suspect fired three shots at the owner and then fled the scene. No one was injured during this incident.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s that is approximately six-feet tall with a slender build and shaggy hair. The suspect is said to have worn a red hoodie, a red ball cap, blue jeans and tennis shoes. According to the victim, there was a second individual in a getaway car.
