As winter sports begin, new protocols are being put into place in order to keep everyone who is attending these events safe.

For Tri-Valley schools, including Caney Valley, Cherryvale, Neodesha, Fredonia, Erie, Eureka, Humboldt and Leon-Bluestem, masks must be worn at all times.

Social distancing will also be enforced more strictly since these events are indoors. Concessions are limited, temperature checks will be taken at gym entrances, and payment options may be altered at both the gate and concession stands.

Each school may add additional restrictions, but all of the previously listed policies are required for all league schools. Field Kinley High School announced last week that they were limiting capacity during their events with the requirement of purchasing activity vouchers prior to events.
