A Caney man has been arrested on an active warrant out of Montgomery County.

 

An officer with the Caney PD was on patrol and observed three males subjects walking south on 75 Highway in front of Casey's General Store. As the three men crossed 75 Highway, the Officer could tell that one of the men appeared to be intoxicated and was staggering.

 

The officer made contact with the three men, where it was discovered that two of the individuals were juveniles and the other was an adult who was intoxicated. The adult male was identified as 36-year-old Eric Seaton of Caney. Upon checking for warrants it was discovered that Seaton had an active warrant for failure to appear on a child support case.

 

Seaton was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The two juvenile males were released to an adult relative who came and picked them up.
