The Kansas Department of Transportation announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects in Kansas on October 21st in Topeka. Included in the bid process was a project in southeast Kansas.
In Montgomery County, 3900 Road from 1.7 miles south to the south city limits of Independence will be graded and re-surfaced. Mission Construction Co. Inc., of St Paul, was awarded the construction project with a bid of just over $548,000. The date of this project will be announced at a later date.
