A residential fire occurred at 714 W 6th Street in Coffeyville on Wednesday night.

When the Coffeyville Fire Department arrived on the scene, the house was completely engulfed in flames. They were able to get the fire under control within a few minutes with the help of the Dearing and South Coffeyville Fire Departments.

CFD is thankful for their help as well as the Coffeyville Police Department for quickly blocking off the street and Coffeyville Municipal Light and Power for shutting off power to the home.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is currently under investigation.
