The Baxter Springs Police Department warns of multiple car thefts that have occurred throughout the town in the past couple of nights.

In a Facebook post, BSPD claims to have one suspect in custody but believes that there could be another suspect that has been involved in these thefts.

BSPD urges people to lock their vehicles whenever they are not in use and to not leave any valuable items in your vehicle. They also suggest reporting any suspicious activity that you might see.
