A Chetopa man has been arrested on probation violation and possession of stolen property.

Detectives from the Labette County Sheriff’s Office received information on the location of stolen property in Chetopa. Officers from the Labette County Sheriff’s Office & the Chetopa Police Dept. executed a search warrant at 1305 Franklin Street.

During the search of the residence, officers located numerous stolen households & workshop items, along with 2 stolen Wave Runners, 2 stolen four-wheelers & 1 side x side. At this time officers have identified stolen items from Kansas & Oklahoma that covers 11 different jurisdictions.

Warrant officers arrested Ronnie J. Butler. Butler is currently incarcerated at the Labette County Sheriff’s Office for possession of stolen property and probation violation. The estimated value of the stolen property exceeds several thousand dollars.
