Due to a large increase in COVID-19 cases in Montgomery County, and after consulting with multiple community leaders, The Coffeyville Chamber of Commerce has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Spooktacular event.

Director of the Chamber Candi Westbrook says this is one of the hardest decisions the Chamber and the Board has had to make. The health and safety of the community is important to them and they know families have already had to deal with the workforce challenges when many area schools had to move to virtual learning. The Chamber wants to ensure they are not putting the children at a higher risk of additional quarantines.

Although Spooktacular will not take place, they are looking into hosting more community wide events when conditions allow, to help reboot the local business economy and provide more activities for Coffeyville.
