Saturation Patrol Success in Parsons

 

Parsons Police, Labette County Sheriff's Department, and the Kansas Combined Anti-Drug Taskforce conducted a saturation patrol in Parsons over the weekend.

 

Commander Kyle Wiford of the K-CAT team headed up the operation and their efforts were successful as they conducted 44 traffic stops during their duties. The result was 15 citations, traffic infractions, and misdemeanor and six arrests for the weekend, including one felony arrest for Possession of Methamphetamines. There were also two misdemeanor warrants served.

 

Parsons Police Chief Robert Spinks said, "This was a great effort and a continued partnership with Labette County Sheriff's Department will only bring more success in the future."
