Temperatures are expected to slowly climb through the next few days throughout south central and southeast Kansas.
The National Weather Service in Wichita is calling for a gradual rise in temperatures throughout the area, potentially reaching the high 70s in portions of the state by Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to be highest along the Kansas-Oklahoma border.
In addition to the warmer temperatures, there is also a substantial chance for showers and thunderstorms throughout the beginning of the week.
