NWS Radio Down in Erie

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's weather radio station WXK-95 from Erie that serves southeast Kansas remains off the air.
Service to the tower is needed and this outage is likely to continue for a while longer.

The National Weather Service in Wichita's Vanessa Pearce says they are hopeful the weather radio will return to service in the next week or so.
They are sorry for the inconvenience this outage has caused.
