Strong winds and a strong cold front will puncuate this weekend's weather forecast. The National Weather Service in Wichita is predicting a high of 65 on Friday, and then rising temperatures into Saturday that will be higher than average.

However, southeast Kansas will likely see a strong cold front move through the area, which will drop tempures nearly 20 degrees to the low-to-mid 50s. Temperatures wll then steadily climb throughout the rest of next week.
