Parsons police are looking for help in finding the person who was reported to be shooting a gun.

Parsons PD was dispatched to the 100 block of South 25th for reported gunshots. Responding officers located and spoke to witnesses who heard the gunshots. The officers were informed that an older white four-door Ford car was possibly involved.

While officers looked for the vehicle in question, the investigating officers located 3 shell casings in the street. The intended target of the shooting is unknown at this time, although officers located what appeared to be a bullet hole in the metal siding of a nearby building, it does not appear that they were the target. Witnesses who heard the gunshot could not positively identify the target or the suspects. Police are still investigating the incident.
