KDOT Announces Approved September Bids

 

The Kansas Department of Transportation announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects in Kansas on Sept. 16th in Topeka. Included in the bid process were projects in southeast Kansas.

 

In Woodson County, The bridge over South Big Creek located 13.5 miles northwest of Yates Center will be replaced by B&B Bridge Company of St. Paul, KS at a cost of just over $525,000.

 

In Bourbon and Crawford counties, U.S. 69 from three miles north of the Arma city limits to just north of the county line will be graded and resurfaced by Bob Bergkamp Construction of Wichita at a cost of $21.6 million.

 

The dates on these projects will be announced at a later date.
