Five New Cases of COVID-19 at Indy High

USD 446 has been notified by the Montgomery County Health Department that four students and a staff member at Independence High School have tested positive for COVID-19. The district has temporarily closed off areas of the building that were used by the individuals so that it can be disinfected.

Superintendent Rusty Arnold says all students and staff identified as close contacts have been notified. The individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 and those identified as close contacts will not be allowed to return to school for at least 14 days from the date of exposure. Remote Learning is available to those students while in quarantine. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Arnold at 620-496-4706 or rarnold@indyschools.com.
