Kansas Celebrates 41st Annual National Activities Week

 

Governor Laura Kelly proclaims next week as National Activities Week in the state of Kansas which will be the 41st consecutive year that the state of Kansas has recognized this celebration. 

 

The week will begin Sunday with National Be A Sport Day, and it will continue all the way through Saturday, October 17th.

 

According to the Kansas State High School Activities Association, the goal of this week is to increase the public’s awareness and appreciation of activity programs with a special emphasis on sportsmanship.
