The City of Cherryvale has announced that the Cherryvale Public Works Department has been awarded a Coronavirus Food Assistance Program Community Involvement Grant of just under $33,000.

These funds will be utilized in cleaning up the north shoreline of Lake Tanko, filling in the small pond of water, and treating the vegetation issues. Clint Dean, Ryan Bowen, Jonathan Booe, and Amber Dean worked together on writing the application of this grant.
