The Cherokee County Economic Development Corporation announced the recipients of the 2020 Recognition Awards, celebrating local businesses and organizations that benefit the county.

The Cherokee County Health Department received the 2020 Community Impact Award which recognizes a business or organization that has positively influenced the quality of life in Cherokee County.

The 2020 Rising Star Award went to Decades of Wheels while TAMKO Building Products is the recipient of the 2020 Business Growth Award.

To round out the list, the 2020 Hall of Fame Award was granted to American Bank.
