An off duty Montgomery County Sheriff's Officer discovers a body at the scene of a crash. This weekend a deputy heard what he believed to be a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. The off-duty deputy responded to the scene of the accident and discovered a man later identified as 52 year old James Donald Bullock Jr of Altamont who had not survived the accident.

The assistant county coroner was called to the scene and asked that Bullock be transported for autopsy. This was a single vehicle accident and Bullock was the only rider on the motorcycle. Sheriff Ron Wade says there are no hours when a deputy is truly off duty, being a deputy is a 24/7 job and this deputy went above the call of duty.
