Homecoming for Field Kindley has been rescheduled for October 2nd. After a Fort Scott player tested positive for COVID-19 and the entire Independence High School football team had to quarantine, the Nado had filled their week 4 matchup with Liberal High School.
According to Head Coach Deonta Wade Liberal has decided to pull out of that game now leaving the Nado opponentless for two straight weeks. FKHS has decided to move their homecoming game to week 5 against Mulvane. Coach Wade says they will attempt to reschedule their rivalry game against Independence at some point later in the season.
