The Elk Valley School District has moved to remote learning, exclusively, starting next week. Classes have been canceled for the rest of the week, according to the Montgomery County Chronicle.

In a statement by the Elk Valley administration, the Elk County Health Department will be reaching out to any student or staff member that may have been in direct contact with the parties as per public health guidelines.

As of right now, the district is unaware of any possible close exposure that would have occurred last week during normal school activities. The events in question occurred over the weekend.
