Earlier this week a Montgomery County Sheriff's Deputy on routine patrol observed an individual he identified as 43 year old Randall Bruce of Independence. Bruce was wanted on warrants in two other jurisdictions, did not have a valid driver’s license, the vehicle registration was not in good standing, and the vehicle was not insured. The deputy also observed drug paraphernalia in plain-view in the vehicle.

A search warrant was obtained for the vehicle, and inside the vehicle deputies found marijuana, methamphetamines, and drug paraphernalia. Bruce was taken to department of corrections and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamines, possession of drug paraphernalia as well as traffic violations. Sheriff Ron Wade says he believes it is important for the public to be made aware that deputies are out on a daily basis, and getting drugs off the streets.
