A 44-year-old man was arrested Sunday evening for a variety of charges including drug possession.

The Montgomery County Sherrif's Office performed a traffic stop for a blue Ford Explorer that had expired tags.

After a short investigation, the driver was identified as Adam Laney of Coffeyville. Laney was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of anabolic steroids as well as other traffic offenses.

Formal charges will be decided by the Montgomery County Attorney’s Office.
