Chautauqua County Moves into Phase II of SPARK Program

Chautauqua County is moving into Phase II of the SPARK grant program.

Phase II of the program will allow schools, businesses and cities to apply for grants to help make up for expenses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Last week, the state of Kansas approved Chautauqua County's filing, allowing the county to move out of Phase I and into this new phase.

Applications will be served on a first come, first serve basis. An application will not be considered complete until all required information and supporting documents have been received. However, the Chautauqua SPARK Advisory Board will not commence reviewing applications until after the deadline of September 21 at 4 pm. There will be an informational SPARK meeting held at the Sedan High School auditorium on Thursday, September 10th at 5 pm.

Documents related to Phase II of the SPARK grant program can be found here. Questions can be directed to Chautauqua County Counselor Zoe Newton by emailing cqcountycounselor@gmail.com.
