Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate from Kansas, Dr. Roger Marshall made a campaign swing through southeast Kansas today .          Marshall made stops in Pittsburg, Coffeyville and Independence.  Speaking to KGGF News Marshall explained he is running for the Senate because he feels the American Dream is being threratened.

 

Marshall went on to say he’s concerned during this election cycle because of the increasing amount of misinformation put out by social media.

 

Marshall also addressed the importance of agriculture and education to our state's economy.

 

Marshall, who currently serves as the Congressman for western Kansas was accompanied in his swing through Montgomery County by Virgil Peck who is running for the Kansas State Senate, representing parts of Montgomery, Labette and Neosho Counties.
