A Labette County Man who is already facing a variety of charges on rape and exploitation had his bond set $100,000 in a new case against him.
In 2018, 20-year-old Owyn T. Back was charged with two counts of rape, two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, one count of aggravated kidnapping, and one count of aggravated battery. He could face at least 12 years in prison if he were convicted. The alleged assault took place on May 12th and 13th of 2018.
Back was free on bond until his arrest on Oct. 30 of last year on two new counts of sexual exploitation of a child. The complaint alleges Back persuaded a child under age 18 to engage in sexually explicit conduct.
Back will be under house arrest and subject to electronic monitoring. Due to the new case including exploitation by electronic means, Back is to have no access to the internet or a cell phone.
