A payment of $2,000 will be coming for some full-time workers in Montgomery County. It was approved at Monday's County Commission Meeting that businesses that applied for funds will receive extra money for its workers due to the coronavirus pandemic. An extra $1,000 will be available for part-time workers as well.

The county received $132,000 in funds to distribute to local businesses affected by the pandemic. These payments will be broken down into two terms for a total of $55,000 distributed per term.

The dates of when these funds will be distributed are to be determined.
