Gas Prices Up Across Nation, Kansas

 

At $2.23, the national gas price average increased by five cents on the week. That is up five cents from a month ago and 35 cents cheaper than a year ago. Prices are also on the rise in Kansas.

 

According to AAA, Kansas prices currently sit at $2.00, which is 3 cents higher than at the same time last week. Montgomery County is currently at $1.96 a gallon, while Labette County is one cent higher at $1.97 a gallon. Chautauqua County checked in with $1.98 a gallon.

 

Across the border in Oklahoma, the state average is $1.93. Washington County came in at $1.89 a gallon while Nowata County clocked in at $1.87 a gallon.
