A 36-year old woman was arrested on a pair of possession charges.

Early Tuesday morning, Chanute Police were sent out to check on a vehicle in the parking lot in the 1200 block of West Main Street. During the investigation, CPD K9 indicated the presence of drugs. Officers applied for and were granted a search warrant for the vehicle. During the search, officers located items associated with illegal narcotics. The 1998 GMC Sierra was seized pending civil forfeiture action.

At around 3:30 am the next morning officers spoke with an adult female requesting to know about her vehicle. Officers arrested September A. Wilson for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Neosho County Jail.
