The Caney Police Department is investigating a burglary that resulted in the theft of several firearms and weapons.

The CPD received word of on Monday of the theft, which was reported at the 500 block of Main Street.  The owner of the home reported that someone had broken into their home while they were away. Upon investigation, it was found that someone had removed a 9MM pistol, .22 caliber revolver and an AR 15 rifle from the home. Three swords were also stolen.
