Unofficial Final Numbers Have Peck Winning by Small Margin

The unofficial final results for the Kansas primary election are in, and it was a slim margin in deciding who would win the Republican nomination for the District 15 Senate seat. The Challenger Virgil Peck says there were 10,263 votes cast.

Incumbent Dan Goddard won both Neosho and Labette County but lost by a wide margin in Montgomery County. Peck says it is a very humbling experience to receive so much support from his home county.  The Kansas State Board of Canvassers, which is comprised of the Governor, Secretary of State and Attorney General, will meet August 28th to certify the 2020 primary election results.
