A man was injured in a wreck on Wednesday afternoon in Bourbon County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Darrell Chaney Jr. of Fort Scott was headed southbound on U.S. 69 when he rear-ended a semi-truck driven by 26-year-old Eric Moore of Humphreys, Missouri. The collision caused Chaney's vehicle to cross the median and came to rest in the northbound ditch.

Chaney was transported to Via Christi Hospital in Fort Scott with suspected minor injuries. Moore had no apparent injuries.
