The Independence City Commission is holding a public hearing before potentially approving the 2021 Budget at its regular meeting tonight.

If approved, the 2021 Budget would allow for the expenditure of the city's budgeted funds, which totals just over $22 million. Areas included by the budget include the library, tourism, sanitation and more.
