The Labette County Health Department has confirmed the first known death of COVID-19 in the county. The patient tested positive and was admitted to the hospital on August 2nd. The patient was a male in his 70's with underlying health conditions. Contact Investigations have been completed and any identified close contacts have been quarantined at home and are being monitored for symptoms by the health department staff.
