Juvenile Arrested for Burglary, Second Juvenile Still Free

 

One juvenile was arrested and another remains on the run after a break-in at a Parsons business Wednesday morning.

 

At around 6:00 am, the Parsons Police Department was notified about a business in the 2500 block of Main Street with a broken window. Responding officers arrived at the business and witnessed an individual in the store. Officers took a male juvenile suspect into custody.

 

The owner of the store later reviewed video surveillance and reported that two suspects broke into the store and that there was a missing computer along with the broken window.

 

The juvenile suspect will be facing charges of Burglary, Theft, and Criminal Damage through the Labette County Attorney Office. Parsons Police are still reviewing leads on the second suspect that was not located at the time of the burglary and arrest.
