After being appointed as the Montgomery County Sheriff in February, Ron Wade defeated his opponent Chris Williams with 60.5% of the vote. Sheriff Wade says the support was overwhelming and he was grateful for all the people that came out to vote.

Sheriff Wade says there had been some uncertainty in the sheriff's office with the changes they've seen over the last year.  Sheriff Wade says he doesn't have any plans to make any changes and that Richard George will continue to serve as his undersheriff.
