As July came to an end both Montgomery and Labette County saw more recoveries than new cases of COVID-19. According to the Montgomery County Health Department, they have 7 new cases, which puts them at 41 active and 152 total since March. The county saw 37 people recovery from Coronavirus from July 24th to July 31st, as the county releases recoveries every Friday.
In Labette County, they have 3 new cases, which puts them at 12 active and 107 total since March. There is currently one person hospitalized due to COVID-19 and 10 people recovered from July 28th to July 31st.
Statewide there were 1,064 new cases reported over the weekend as well as 7 deaths.
