Three Car Accident Injures One

A three-car collision sent a 32-year-old Oklahoma woman to the hospital on Monday evening in Pittsburg.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Brittany Ardoin of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma was driving southbound on U.S. 69 headed toward 20th Street when she failed to stop at the red light and hit the rear quarter panel of a truck driven by 70-year-old Billie Kimball of Frontenac. In the process, a third vehicle driven by 19-year-old Alexus Merando, also of Frontenac, struck the driver's side of Ardoin's vehicle.

Ardoin was transported to Via Christi Hospital after complaining of pain. Kimball and Merando had no apparent injuries. Seat belts were in use in all vehicles.
