Last week the Labette County Commissioners voted 2 to 1 to opt out of the governor's order to require masks been worn in public. Commissioner Lonie Addis says its not about thinking masks aren't safe, but about not wanting to mandate masks be worn.

Addis says he didn't want to leave the wrong impression, that he does respect the advice of their medical community and asks the public to listen to that advice.
